  1. Learners able to re-enter their submissions and make changes to a ongoing log/journal

    If you are delivering a course that requires learners to add to a journal entry as a task, this could be constantly updated by the learner and feedback could be given as ongoing assessment

  3. Student defined/randomized sequence of topics

    In the course I'm developing i touch on 50 different (very short/granular) topics that don't need a sequence. I would like the sequence to be either:

    a) Student-defined sequence: the student can see the 50 topics and pick the sequence he wants to carry out. The student should be able to see clearly which topics he needs to take and which one he's already studied.

    b) Randomized: each topic is a surprise every time! (like the shuffle function in an MP3 player), with no repetition of a topic the student has already worked on. When the student has completed a…

  4. sharing tasks between courses

    I have multiple classes ongoing at the same time with different task deadlines but the same content. I would like to be able to copy a task from one course and add it to another course and then just change the deadline. Currently I have to write each question and respective answers one by one, which is very time consuming.

  5. Instructor should be able to control automatic content update notifications

    Teacher should be able to disable automatic content changes notification that are sent to students. When an instructor is doing a lot of juggling around with the course, changing things back and forth, trying different ways to present things, it could easily generate a lot of useless update information and cause students to be annoyed by the emails.

  6. Being able to view the chat history of live webinars that have ended.

    When making a live webinar it would be useful to have it recorded or saved. That way when the session has ended students can access it afterwards. This would also help for students who have missed the live webinar.

  7. Support for Exporting course material

    It takes a lot of effort to build a course. I'd like to make sure I can bring it out in html/xml/some other form as well.

    Users would benefit from export as pdf or print - version as well.

  8. Add recurrent events to the calendar

    When student receive the same training for several consecutive days, it would save some time and effort if one could simply copy and paste daily schedules. Or create an recurrent even that repeats on each day.

    In the menu bar perhaps allowing the teacher to add or remove tabs that are pertinent to each course. For example, I won't be using a webinar in one course and would like to omit it. Or a "tab" that has lessons on it. instead of tasks. Essentially, allowing for flexibility in managing the tabs and thei respective names.

  10. Grade book should allow manual entry

    In addition to online test and tasks sometime courses have "offline" assignments. I would be good to incorporate such data right to Eliademy grade book.

  11. Plagiarism Checker

    How about adding a plagiarism checker for the students and/or the teachers to use to determine whether the student has plagiarized any previous work. It could be added into the grading section or as a button on the task menu. This would assist the student in ensuring all work is correctly cited prior to submission.

    Discussion board be viewed as a tree with discussions not viewed to be highlighted or in bold print. In the discussion tree only the label to be viewed until clicked on.

  14. Providing feedback, ordered by incorrect and correct

    The instructor should be able to see when an attempt has been taken and any incorrect history by the candidate for a specific item so that they can provide custom feedback or draw on feedback written for other candidates (item and response specific feedback)

  15. RSS Feed of course progress

    I would like to be able to tap into an RSS feed for a number of key areas so that I can update my blog and social media as to the progress of the course. If a candidate completes the course and is awarded, then I would like to be able to automatically push that message out to the blog and then social media channels.

  17. Clearer information about number of submitted/graded assignments on main "Tasks/Assignments" page

    I am not quite happy with the overall listing of student tasks. Currently, tasks appear grouped in two columns by "Ungraded" and "Graded", apparently by somewhat arbitrary criteria, since it happens often that a task is "partially graded", i.e. as an instructor I have graded some of the submissions, but some of them not yet.

    Instead, I would prefer to see under each task heading some information like this:
    "Submitted: 79
    Graded: 52
    Ungraded: 27"
    ... or even detailing how many students submitted their work on time, and how many after the deadline.

    Instead of grouping by "Ungraded" and "Graded",…

    I agree that would be a fantasic feature. At the moment we support import of courses in Moodle and IMS Open Cartridge formats. However, for the feature to work Udemy should support export of course. This, unfortunately, is unavailable on Udemy at the moment.
